Grace embraces the opportunity to support short-term missions with both finances and prayer. We believe that summer mission trips can train young people to communicate their faith more clearly and can help them develop a deeper relationship and stronger walk with God.

hannahHannah will be participating in the Summer Training Project sponsored by Campus Outreach Minneapolis. She’ll be heading to Myrtle Beach, SC to secure a full time job at either a grocery store or fast food restaurant and will work with fellow students from the project. When the students are not at work, they’ll be engaged in Bible studies, bible training, and evangelism training that will prepare them for any future mission work. The students will also evangelize on the beach every week.

isabellaIsabella will be part of the Walt Disney World Summer Project sponsored by Campus Crusade for Christ. She will be building relationships with other college students from around the US with whom she’ll be working at the theme park or resort and helping to plan evangelistic outreach events for them. As the Summer Project students are equipped in living in the power of the Holy Spirit, sharing the gospel, discovering God’s Word, and sharing their lives, they’ll be equipping international & American students to bring the life of the gospel back to their countries and homes.

Colin will be going on a mission’s trip to New York to help salvage and rebuild from the natural disaster of  Hurricane Sandy.  Their team will be divided into two groups serving in both New York City and Jersey Shore.  They will be rebuilding homes: painting, plumbing, electrical work.  They will also have an opportunity to serve one day in a soup kitchen, meeting and having fellowship with those that have been devastated by Hurricane Sandy.   The team’s goal is to help those who were affected by the hurricane, but most importantly, to share God’s love and message along the way.

slavickSarah will be serving for a month in an orphanage in Honduras. This is Sarah’s fourth and longest trip to serve and minister to the children of this beautiful, yet impoverished country.

179982_598662200074_175670672_nMatt will be returning to Honduras with Unending Grace Ministries. The main purpose of this mission is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to make disciples. Their secondary purpose is to care for the most vulnerable by working alongside them to provide for their most basic of needs.
